Specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and management, diabetic eye disease, and comprehensive adult eye care.
Dr. Wyll is a native of Dallas, Texas. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Texas in Austin and his medical degree from U. T. Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After graduating from medical school, he did a year of internal medicine training at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. He then spent 3 years as an epidemiologist at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. During his training, he had a fellowship through the International Eye Foundation providing medical and surgical eye care in El Salvador, Central America.
Dr. Wyll has been practicing in Garland, Texas since 1976. He was voted as one of the "Best Doctors in Dallas" by D Magazine
, from 2003-2006 and in 2010. He has also been honored by Texas Monthly Magazine as a "Texas Super Doctor" every year since 2004.
He and Dr. John Haley formed Garland Ophthalmology Center in 1980, and they moved into their location in 1985.
Dr. Wyll is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He served as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at U.T. Health Science Center at Dallas. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Ophthalmological Association, the Texas American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
